ABOUT
Hello there, I’m Jennifer! I am an oil painter and focus primarily on landscapes. I'm from Ohio, studied art in Italy, lived in Virginia, and am now based out of Philadelphia, PA.
I’ve loved painting for as long as I can remember. I'm particularly drawn to light and color, and my work is characterized by earthy undertones with layers of vibrant colors.
I am continuously inspired by my travels, both near and far, that let me discover the immense beauty in this world. Whether it be mountains, lakes, coasts or even florals. . . I love getting lost in the process of painting, to simply meditate and remember how wonderful this place called earth is. I adore the beginning, when I'm just casting the sketch and seeing the infinite possibilities, and also the end, when putting in those finishing details to see it all come together as a story. I layer and add detail, and am all about paintings overflowing with vibrancy. I hope my paintings bring about a sense of awe and wonder.
I love how paintings can initiate conversation, speak of hope and beauty when words are inadequate, and remind us of what we truly value in our lives.
