Hi there, I'm Jennifer! I'm an artist currently living in Virginia Beach.

My work reflects my memories and dreams. It is a channel of my passion for life, inspired by moments in time. I wouldn’t be painting if it wasn’t for all the places life has taken me.

My artistic background comes from receiving training at a young age, from private lessons, classes, and a variety of workshops. I am primarily a landscape painter, focusing on oils, and my work is characterized by earthy undertones that coexist with layers of vibrant colors. I balance traditional compositions with fresh, modern elements in a painterly style. I believe art is an emerging process, a delicate balance between the subtleties of color, transparencies, and bold brushstrokes. My paintings develop from closely observing nature and I am inspired endlessly by adventures and discovering the depth there is to this world.

When I paint, I feel a certain kind of alive yet to be found elsewhere. Sometimes my paintings are planned, a true labor of love; other times, they're spontaneous works of joy. I layer and detail until my intuition tells me it's finished. I adore the beginning, when I'm just casting the sketch and seeing the infinite possibilities, and also the end, when putting in those finishing details to see it all come together as a story.

I love how paintings can initiate conversation, mean something a little different to everyone, and remind us of what we truly value in our lives. When someone tells me that a piece captures the essence of a place they once lived, or reminds them of a trip they took years back -- this fills my heart. I am all about paintings overflowing with vibrancy, especially those that infuse us with a sense of awe and wonder.

I am excited for all the possibilities out there, and I hope you'll join me on my artistic journey in exploring new frontiers.

Once we believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or any experience that reveals the human spirit.
